Restoration and New Life for the 1922 Benjamin
Working on a piece of history like the 1922 Benjamin means touching the pioneering engineering of the early 20th-century automobile firsthand. A true link between the car and the motorcycle, this extremely lightweight French cyclecar boasted surprising performance for its time and made history with its successes in the challenging Bol d'Or endurance race.
It is an extremely rare vehicle: it is estimated that only about twenty examples still exist today.

Our client entrusted us with the restoration of the suspension system on his Type C model—the competition-ready, sporty version.
For the suspension of a vintage car that barely weighs 350 kg, fidelity to the original design is vital. Our precision intervention guarantees safety and driving comfort, all while preserving the authentic spirit of this automotive jewel, which is now ready for rallies and scenic drives.

Working on pre-war vehicles like the Benjamin is a challenge that demands the utmost respect for the car's heritage and a deep expertise in restoring collector vehicles.
To put the BSA signature on this work is an honour for all of us and for the reputation of our workshop.
